The gothic architecture of the General Theological Seminary, which is the oldest seminary of the Episcopal Church in the United States having been established in 1817, is juxtaposed with the art-deco architecture of the Empire State Building. The General Theological Seminary’s campus also houses a hotel named The Desmond Tutu Center which features a 19th century Refectory as a conference room.

Central Park, New York City
It’s another bitter cold, rainy and gloomy day in New York City today. As usual, my typical antidote is looking at photos of Central Park from warmer, sunnier times. I love this particular view of the San Remo as seen between trees with Central Park’s lake in the foreground.
